What “canonical endpoint” means
A canonical endpoint is a stable, authoritative identity that AI agents and systems can resolve deterministically
to discover trusted capabilities and references. It does not replace websites or APIs. It anchors them with an
authoritative namespace mapping and published governance.
Verification method
Integrity verification: the canonical metadata includes a published SHA-256 hash so any party can
verify the document has not changed.
Custody verification (Handshake): StreetDance.1 is controlled via registrar custody (Namecheap HNS).
Where registrar custody does not expose private-key message signing, control is demonstrated through
authoritative publication of a reciprocal anchor under StreetDance.1 that points back to this Web2 twin
and includes the same SHA-256 hash.
Stewardship and governance
The namespace steward is responsible for maintaining authoritative links and endpoint metadata, publishing changes
with version control, and operating change and revocation processes.
